Leadership Augusta Class of 2023 Government Day

The Adult Leadership class recently traveled to the Capitol in Atlanta for Government Day. The class was fortunate to tour the Capitol building and observe the legislative process through House and Senate hearings. The class enjoyed the Greater Augusta Day Luncheon at the Sloppy Floyd building. A special thank you to Governor Brian Kemp for his remarks before the luncheon and for taking the time for a Leadership Augusta photo and our speakers Greg Bluestein from the AJC, Grant Thomas with the Office of Health Strategy and Coordination, Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, and Scott Orr and Ben Harbin with Georgia Power.
