Leadership Augusta Class of 2023 Arts & Culture Day

The class of 2023 fully immersed themselves in Augusta’s thriving art scene for arts and culture day. The class spent time at Annex Studio, Old Richmond Academy, the Gertrude Herbert Institute of Art, Berkshire Guitars, the Municipal Building Gallery, the Jessye Norman School for the Arts (JNSA), Humanitree House, the Morris Museum of Art, and Westobou Gallery. The class had a chance to learn from movers and shakers in the art community and we’d like to thank Brenda Durant, Kristi Jilson Sykes, Wayne O’Bryant, Heather Williams, AJ and Roni Berkshire, Devin Lovett, the Augusta Arts Council and their luncheon presenters, Gary Dennis and the JNSA staff, Niki Haris, Karen Gordon, Kevin Grogan, Matt Porter, and Edward Rice for sharing with us.
